This feather pendant has been handmade in India using 925 Sterling Silver.
Feathers have been an age old and cherished symbol to many diverse cultures and civilisations around the world - most notably to the Native Americans who saw them as gifts from the sky.
People who acted bravely would be bestowed with the honour of receiving one from an Elder and would have to make sure they respected and handled it with care, they would be allowed to wear in on a headdress only after they recounted their story of courage to their court.
